Senior Financial Analyst (Finance)



JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Financial Analyst

Relationship & Scope:

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Deputy Head - Global FP&A , and is a pivotal member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The Senior Financial Analyst will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel including other financial analysts, divisional leaders, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain reporting templates and supporting analyses.
  • Assist in preparation and review of monthly forecasts, annual plan, and strategic plan. Key financial reports include internal report books, and various supporting documents.
  • Work closely with business units to clearly summarize and articulate results at various levels of the earnings call preparation cycle. Assist in the preparation and review of the Quarterly Financial Supplement mark-up analysis and supporting Q&A document.
  • Assist in preparation and review of the quarterly Board Presentation as well peer/competitor analysis commentary to assist CFO and CAO.
  • Assist in compilation of peer analysis, including: peer database entry, review of competitor earnings releases and conference calls quarter highlight summaries that are distributed to senior management.
  • Assist with consolidation and analysis of external sell-side Chubb covered analyst estimate models
