Dental Network Client Strategist - Cigna Healthcare - Remote (Finance)



Position Summary

This role will be work at home and will support our National Dental Networks, our Client Account Management teams and our Dental Sales teams. Provides advanced professional input to complex Provider Network Strategy assignments/projects for existing and prospective clients. Analyzes and reviews reporting and projects impact of network recruitment and retention strategies. Develops and monitors dental and vision network performance guarantees. Coordinates with Provider Contracting, Provider Relations and Provider Service areas to drive execution on performance guarantees. Monitor and track progress of PGs, including report outs to account and sales teams. Prepares responses for Network RFP questions. Prepare materials and make presentations to existing and prospective clients and or market sales teams. Responds to the complex service issues and inquiries, identifying resources for resolution of client network issues. Handle non-routine problems ensuring client satisfaction with products and service. Support provider recruitment or retention nationally via field work as needed. Mentor, train, support and provide direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring "expert" level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a territory acting as a liaison between client account management teams, dental sales teams and provider network teams.
  • Prepare materials for and attend finalist meetings to present the value of Cigna Dental's network, virtually or in-person.
  • Prepare materials for and attend client meetings virtually or in-person as needed to communicate current network strengths, with a goal of client/membership growth and retention.
  • Ability to gather critical information, swiftly assess type of inquiry and the level of complexity and determine to process or direct the work to the appropriate teams for resolution for escalated issues.
  • Interact professionally with clear, effective communication and set the appropriate expectations on timeline of deliverables. Provide updates to clients, matrix partners, and/or contracted providers on status and resolution.
  • Leverage internal resources and use independent judgement and discretion to resolve complex client inquiries and solve non-routine problems, which ensure client satisfaction with products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client account management and sales teams.
  • Coordinate with internal business partners to ensure provider and member needs are met and potential problems are averted.
  • Effectively drive teams for improved client & member experience.
  • Support dental network targets through whatever means to meet overall dental earnings targets.
  • Recruit provider to the dental network as needed.
  • Ability to travel nationally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in provider/client/customer service insurance environment.
  • Role requires 5+ years of experience with dental DHMO and PPO provider facing roles.
  • Working knowledge of dental insurance products preferred
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task, manage and resolve issues with a take charge attitude to support operational needs
  • Ability to navigate and develop relationships with all internal business partners and contracted providers
  • Demonstrate active listening, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective collaboration and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Internet Explorer are required.
